I've tried several companies, and they do not match the quality and service of Atlantic Building Inspections. I've had companies where the inspector is not even going inside the attic, just taking a peek, and filling out whatever. On top of that, they mail Polaroid pictures, and send us mitigations without the signature of the client a week later.
Atlantic, has a touch screen computer in their trucks!!! So they perform the inspection, correctly, and they actually go into the attic and takes pictures. Then, they have the client sign the screen of the computer on the spot, and they email the report to us. So by the time the client walks into their house to call me to tell me that the inspector just left, I already have the mitigation and photos in my email inbox. Mind you, they have printers in their trucks, so the client gets their signed copy just as fast.
They set up appointments on the spot, and before going over to do the inspection, they have a series of questions that they ask before setting up the appoinement. They do not want to take the clients money and later tell them that they do not qualify for a discount because the front door does not have shutters.
They are perfect gentlemen, knowledgeable, timely, and professional. Extremely rare in the industry. Takes a lot of pride in their business, and takes pride in the customer service they provide.
They charge $150.00 for the windstorm mitigation; however, if the client saved less than $150.00, they return the difference. I've yet to have a bad experience with them, and I probably never will. I put my name firmly on my referral, and am proud to say that they work with us. They are a Rolls Royce in an industry of Hyundai Accents.
